Dr. Xiayun Zhao has been a faculty at the Department of Mechanical and Materials Science in the University of Pittsburgh (PITT) since August 2018. She received a B.S. from the Department of Precision Instruments in Tsinghua University (China). Before pursuing her PhD at Georgia Tech, she worked full time as an instrumentation and control system engineer in Houston for a couple of years.
